When you meet Dolly Parton you can wear this hat ?? now 。Purple rain is an iconic song originally slayed by Prince and more recently remade by Dolly as a tribute to the late God of the guitar. You may think that the remake could not possibly touch the brilliance of the original. However, it was a lovely take on the original and was very well done. It’s was a beautiful touching tribute to an amazing artist, by an amazing artist. This hat was inspired by that tribute. Custom dyed and hand burned, Purple Rain is meticulously designed. The “tooled leather” includes the artists’ favorite flowers (roses for Dolly and Irises for Prince). The insignia is my design which includes the signature Dolly butterfly and the seven symbol , which for a time was Prince’s legal name. (The story how that came about is an interesting one!) You’ll also see homage paid in the real Dove feather adorning the hat band , the touch of lace and the paisley satin lining. Like the amazing Prince, This hat is truly one of a kind and will not be reproduced. All my hats are hand burned. No lasers, stencils or stamps here! Each design is my own original artwork.
