Bill Bowerman (Nike Co-Founder) Handmade Prototype Logo 。Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 ESC from the 2008 Bill Bowerman Series in black and orange. See photos for overall condition. Wear on back of collars (see pics). Great sneakers for a serious collector who can repair collars. Collar/heel pads included as a courtesy, but not a serious fix. The \"ESC\" designation stands for Eco-Sustainable Construction, a special hybrid performance line from Nike\'s archive that utilized environmentally friendly materials and targeted trail-to-road versatility. The Insider Details: The Heritage: Named after Nike\'s legendary co-founder and track coach, Bill Bowerman, the Bowerman Series badge was given strictly to elite, technical running models built for putting in heavy weekly mileage. Performance Tech: These were engineered as top-tier daily stability shoes. They combined responsive Zoom Air cushioning with a dense medial support post in the arch to keep overpronation completely in check. The \"ESC\" Upgrades: Unlike the standard mesh road version, this rugged iteration features water-resistant materials, thick trail-ready overlays, tightly woven technical mesh, and an internal stone shield to block sharp rocks underfoot.
