Vintage Women。Early 1950s hat true vintage by designer Normand Durand. This was my grandmothers hat and she has a hat model from the late 30s-early 50s in NYC. This is one of Durand’s early pieces inspired by post WWII The New Look originating with Christian Dior (this style played a huge role in reforming the fashion industry, especially in France after the war). However, if you’re looking at this hat, chances are you know the fashion political history of this style. Good condition.
