Chromexcel is the flagship leather from the iconic Horween Tannery in Chicago, IL. Chromexcel is impregnated with a proprietary blend of natural oils and waxes, this special tannage gives the leather a number of distinctive properties. It has a beautiful bright finish, unique \"pull-up\" character, soft and flexible structure, and a \"self polishing\" property. Over time the leather will \"bloom\", which means the oils and waxes make their way to the surface, leaving a light white film on the leather. It\'s as simple as buffing with a horsehair brush or soft cloth and you\'ll restore the beautiful finish of the leather.
